'POLITICS IN FASHION' GRADE 10

OVERVIEW OF LESSON

Students discussed examples of how fashion is used to communicate political messages. They designed their own projects inspired in relevant themes such as racism, mental health, women's and rights.

TEACHING MATERIALS

Students will analysed political fashion examples and will be introduced to fashion design in order to prototype different items of their choice.

Age group: Middle school

Duration: 20 lessons, 45 minutes each
