'ARCHITECTURE' GRADE 10
OVERVIEW OF LESSON
Students discussed examples from contemporary and sustainable materials in architecture to design their own projects. They considered local, personal and global contexts to design, make accurate plans and scale models of a variety of buildings.
TEACHING MATERIALS
Students will learn the technique of perspective drawing and cardboard scale model to design an architectural project.
Age group: Middle school
Duration: 20 lessons, 45 minutes each
You will need: Cardboard
Tools: pencils, knives, cutting boards, security gloves, scissors, masking tape, and acrylic paint
