'PHOTOGRAPHY - WATER' GRADE 11

OVERVIEW OF LESSON

Students worked collaboratively to use photography as an ethnographic tool. They brainstormed together different issues connected to climate change from a local perspective and voted to work as a group to understand better what happens with the water they consume in the city they live. They analyzed the works of contemporary photographers  especially Sebastiao Salgado, and created an exhibition exposing their findings regarding the documentation of an environmental issue.
