'OCEAN POLLUTION' GRADE 2

OVERVIEW OF LESSON

Second-grade students will inquire into the the responsibilities of humans when sharing the planet with other species. Because of the location of the school and its proximity with the Ocean, the project will have a specific emphasis on the Ocean pollution. 

TEACHING MATERIALS

Learning outcomes: Students will investigate causes and effects of plastic pollution in the Ocean and make sculptures with collected plastic containers

Age group: Lower primary school

Duration: 8 lessons, 45 minutes each

You will need: Plastic containers

Tools: Scissors, glue guns, paint, brushes.
